Plant Hybrid
Deep in the swamps, in the most unheard-of regions of the jungles, in the desert, something has happened. Mother Earth herself has begun to sense the destruction of her land, the killing of her species, the toxins released upon her.

Does she hate man for this? Of course not. Mankind is her friend, and there are many who wish to protect her. But they are weak compared to those who cause the damage. As a gift to those who protect the Earth, she has decided to send help, creatures who possess the powers of earth themselves, and she would sometimes disguise them as humans. She also sensed powerful warriors, called the Street Fighters by some of the Native Americans she had spoken to. They could provide excellent training for her new warriors. Thus strange new beings have begun to appear in the ring - the Plant Hybrids. They are training, honing their skills, and waiting for their instructions from Mother Earth.

PLAYERS AS PLANT HYBRIDS
Mother Nature is a great sculptor, but evolution takes time, and this was a rush job. Plant Hybrids appear humanoid, but not as human as Mother Nature would have intended, sometimes even mosterous. Their skin is a shad of green, and their bodies are made of intertwining plants. They are intelligent creatures, and each have personalities and sometimes their own goals they have set for themselves, but all train for the service of Mother Nature by studying some type of martial art and finding and defeating evil wherever they find it. They can speak and interact in every way with humans. There are different types of plant hybrids, from Tree to Cactus to Venus Flytrap, and many others.

Special Benefits
Plant Hybrids are not immortal, and live life spans equal to humans, although they cannot reproduce. Plant Hybrids always regroup if damaged enough, and therefore do not take aggravated damage. Although they go unconscious when reduced to 0 Health, they will, sooner or later, rise again, even if burned, thanks to the special powers bestowed upon them by Mother Nature, until their life span is complete (Mother Nature decides how long these creatures live, usually around 70-80 years). Plant Hybrids but consume water, but not food. They must breathe, but take in carbon dioxide as their air (luckily in abundance across the Earth).

Plant Hybrids may purchase the following Special Maneuvers in addition to those allowed by their Style, as long as their Background equals any Focus or Background requirements.Plant Hybrids always pay the lowest Power Point cost listed for these maneuvers. Plant Hybrids begin play with +1 Stamina.

Special Weaknesses
These creatures are shunned by normal humans in the way cyborgs are. They also begin play with a 0 Appearance, instead of the usual one dot. Special Maneuvers directed against them that drain water from the victim are at a bonus of -1 Difficulty (making the standard Difficulty 6 a Difficulty 5). Plant Hybrids pay the highest Power Point cost for any Focus maneuver not listed here but part of their style, or that has an "any" Power Point rating.
