(Foes, Monsters and other creatures in the Dark Kingdom)
The following is a list of known creatures in Arember. Sages group these creatures in six catagories, listed below. Note that Dwarves, Gnomes and Halflings are not considered creatures, but simply part of the world, just like ordinary creatures such as humans. Elves are considered fey creatures.
Dark Queen creatures, which are two sepearte catagories, those allied with The Dark Queen and those that are wild cratures that came from wherever she did but are not under her direct control.
Wizard creatures, which are creatures that were created by wizards, including wizard-
Fey creatures, which are creatures that are from the faerie lands. Most of the fey creatures are of good alignment, but there are exceptions.
Wild Undead, which spring fourth from the foul power of the Dark Queen left over from the time of the great war. Usualy those killed by magic of the Dark Queen come back as undead.
Curse Creatures, which are creatures created by the power of the Dark Queen from another being, although they still live, by a curse passed on by spell or attack. The classic example of a Curse crature is the werewolf.

Drow elves are almost always knowledgable of magic, and quite a few are spellcasters. As a race, they seem to be slowly turning to evil, due to the influence of the Queen upon them.
In service to the Queen, these wizards know much more than the mages searching for scraps of lost knowledge across the kingdom. Serving the Queen allows them access to many spells. Most seem cruel and power-
Huge, green scaled monsters, these creatures are rumored to breathe fire and fly through the sky. While most dragons seem to be the stuff of legend, Darkskies the Dragon is very real.
Gnolls are much more rare than kobolds or goblins, and are much more powerful. They are often found as leaders of goblin units.
